Research interest:  Her research and teaching focusses on history and heritage of  landscape architecture, reading narratives and values of urban and landscape identity, methods of transformation, large scale approaches in country houses (buitenplaatsen en landgoederen) in country houses landscapes (buitenplaatsenlandschappen), urban heritage and military built heritage.

Training: PhD in Landscape architecture at Delft University of Technology (DUT), Master in Science in Architecture and Conservation strategies DUT. QTS.

2009 - now:  Assistant professor Landscape architecture, specialism:  heritage and transformation. Teaching and coordinating in the graduation lab coordinator History and Heritage Vector (track Urbanism), landscape biography (track Landscape architecture), co-coordinator Minor Heritage & Design, lecturer post-master European Master in Urbanism. She is research member of Center for Global Development and Heritage, educational committee of the Research School Art and Architectural Historians (OSK), member of the DSL, Vitruvius and so on. Member of Board of Education of the Faculty Architecture of the Built Environment, Delft University of Technology (2012-2018).

2003 - 2009: Researcher and tutor in the fields of Landscape architecture and Urbanism in  BSc-education and the elective Landscape architecture.

2003 - 2007: Policy advisor Heritage, Archaeology and Social Housing  for municipality Voorschoten and working member of the Pact van Duivenvoorde.

2000 - 2003:  Designers at architectural firm LeodeJonge architecten.
