associate professor in the Quantum and Computer Engineering Department, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, Delft University of Technology (starting January 2012). I was born in Paramaribo, Suriname on October 20th, 1973. (snip) I obtained my PhD from the Delft University of Technology in December 2002 after which I started as an assistant professor at the same university (January 2003). My PhD thesis entitled "Microcoded Reconfigurable Embedded Processors" describes the MOLEN polymorphic processor, organization, and (micro-)architecture.
My research interests include:
- Reconfigurable Computing
- Embedded Systems
- Hardware/Software Co-Design
- High-Performance Computing
- Distributed Collaborative Computing
- Network Processing
- In-Memory Computing
- Micro-architectures for Quantum Computers
