Profile
Dr. Kemal Keskin is currently a post-doctoral researcher in the Digital Rail Traffic Lab (DRTLab) of Transport & Planning of Civil Engineering at Delft University of Technology as of August 2023. He has earned his academic degrees in Electrical Engineering specializing in Control Systems.
He developed a strong interest in energy-optimal control methods throughout his PhD studies, which confirmed his preference for optimizing train dynamics in a sustainable manner. This knowledge was further proven during the period he was working as a consultant for Metro Istanbul, where he successfully promoted energy-efficient train operations by using sophisticated mathematical modelling.
His research focus on optimizing transportation systems and control systems. With a keen interest in the integration of advanced technologies and data-driven approaches, he seeks solutions that are both innovative and impactful in the sense of artificial intelligence.
