Biography
Studied Geodetic Engineering between 1982 and 1989 at TU Delft, graduated in 1989 as MSc on automation of cartographic generalization. After fulfilling his military service as a platoon commander / fire support officer Robert joined CGI until his current role as VP Consulting. Since 2005 Robert joined the TU Delft again as guest researcher and guest teacher at Geomatics (GISt) and Geoscience and Remote Sensing.
Expertise
Research has been focussed on Indoor Geomatics, Indoor 3D point clouds and improving situation awareness. Apart from this Robert has been a guest teacher at the American University of Cairo (and Luxor) and gave lectures and field courses on surveying with simple means for Egyptologists.
