He holds an MSc with distinction from TU Munich in Machine Learning and Data Science, and dual Bachelor's degrees from TU Kaiserslautern in power grid control.

Runyao's professional background is diverse and spans multiple industries. He has worked as a Battery Data Scientist at Rimac Automobili and BMW, focusing on battery aging and temperature prediction. He gained experience in Natural Language Processing during his internship at KPMG and as a Research Assistant at ETH Zurich. Additionally, Runyao has contributed to anomaly detection for automotive chips at Danfoss and served as a Teaching Assistant at TU Munich, specializing in Applied Machine Intelligence. He has also interned at Arup, working on energy optimization and interior design projects.
