Biography

I am a PhD researcher in the section of railway engineering. Previously, I was employed as a senior research assistant at the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Thailand. My research interest are artificial neural networks, machine learning, big data analytics, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, finite element analysis, fatigue failure analysis.

About

I am a mathematical-background researcher with a passion for AI applications in predictive maintenance, especially when it comes to rail and modern transportation. This is to fulfill an increasing demand on new technology development in big data and AI in Thailand. To move towards the goal, I am now conducting research focusing on a development of automated systems for fault diagnosis and prognosis with a goal towards maintenance optimisation. Techniques I am employing are stemmed from AI and Machine learning. Specifically, I am very intrigued in data fusion and how to extract useful information from various sources of data to assess the present condition. Also, how to accurately predict machine failures in order to enhance decision making under uncertainty to guarantee the reliability and availability of the rail services.
