Yasel Quintero is a Research Software Engineer working for the Digital Competence Centre (DCC).
Her interests are the design and development of research software with strong physics and mathematical components, software engineering best practices and high performance computing.
Before joining the DCC, Yasel worked for six years developing software for the Non-Destructive Evaluation research group at Imperial College London.
Her qualifications include an undergraduate degree in Physics from the University of Sonora in Mexico and an MSc in High Performance Computing with Data Science from the University of Edinburgh.
