TU Delft and Urenco invest together in nuclear talent
Uranium enricher Urenco and TU Delft are teaming up to develop new generations of nuclear scientists. Urenco is supporting the Delft Excellent Laboratory Facilities for Innovation and Nuclear Education (DELFINE) programme for three years to increase the pool of nuclear talent who can work to find solutions to the challenges society faces.

Delft female impact community: annual event inspires Delft women in engineering
The Delft Female Impact Community once again brought together its powerful network at the annual alumnae event on 10 October 2024 at TU Delft. With a full house of close to 200 alumni in attendance, this year’s theme, ‘Women for Water’, shined a light on one of the most pressing global challenges — access to clean water.

Natalia Vtyurina winner Marina van Damme Grant 2024
On Thursday 10 October, Delft University Fund organised the 2024 Marina van Damme Grant Award Ceremony. Three female Delft alumni stood the chance to win the coveted grant of € 9,000,-. After three impressive pitches and a short jury meeting, Prof. Marina van Geenhuizen, chair of the jury, announced that it was Natalia Vtyurina for winning the 2024 Marina van Damme Award!

TU Delft Excellence Fund supports Prof. Stefan Witte and Dr Anasua Chatterjee
With support from the TU Delft Excellence Fund, two prominent scientists recently started their work at TU Delft. As per September, Prof. Stefan de Witte has been appointed Professor of Optics for Nanoscale Metrology at the department of Imaging Physics.

Delft University Fund continues successful campaign: Tech for Impact
Does molten salt make for clean and safe nuclear power? Can we treat heart problems better with a digital twin? Will bacteria succeed in removing arsenic from groundwater? Will we be climate neutral by 2050 by capturing CO2 from the atmosphere? These questions are at the heart of the Tech for Impact 2024 campaign.

Ambitious student projects receive in total €50,000 grant through Delft University Fund
In december 2023 konden studenten een subsidie-aanvraag indienen bij FAST (Funding ambitious Students) voor de organisatie van een evenement en voor financiering van een ambitieus project. In totaal ontving FAST 27 aanvragen, welke zijn beoordeeld op innovatie, haalbaarheid, impact en budget.

The Air France-KLM Group becomes a major partner of the TU Delft-France Initiative
At the MRO Europe show (annual exhibition for the aviation maintenance business) held on October 18th and 19th, 2023 at the RAI Amsterdam, Air France-KLM, KLM and Air France have pledged to jointly contribute €150,000 per year over three years to the TU-Delft France Initiative.
