Becoming a mother can lead to new challenges. But it does not mean being less dedicated to work or less ambitious. At the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, we launched the Parental Fund to support parents in their work during (or around) periods of maternity and/or parental leave. During these periods, it is not possible to keep up with professional duties. The Fund can be used flexibly to alleviate the negative effect of the leave period on the staff performance and ease their return to work.
