There are no Open Calls at the moment.
In the period 2020-2022 we have had Open Calls to fund projects to provide a safe environment for such risky research and facilitate, design, and execute interdisciplinary, boundary-crossing research that can quickly respond to urgent questions of the energy transition. Proposals have urgent, relevant, and/or risky research activities outlined. These activities have an interdisciplinary and integrative nature.

Spring call for proposals 2022
The ET Lab invites TPM researchers to submit proposals in which urgent, relevant, and/or risky research activities are outlined. These activities will need to have an interdisciplinary and integrative nature and will have to have a short time frame of about three months. The total budget to fund research in this round is 20.000 euro in cash, we expect proposals to ask for an amount between 3.000 and 15.000 euro.

Towards alternative energy and CO2 sources for Dutch greenhouses - Energy Transition Lab - TU Delft
Dutch greenhouses produce mostly vegetables and flowers like tomatoes, sweet peppers and roses. After the United States, the Netherlands is the biggest exporter of agricultural produce in the world. The Dutch agricultural sector exports about € 65 billion of agricultural products annually.

Update: Seminar series on energy justice research
The TPM Energy Transition Lab organises a series of seminars on energy justice research. This series will cover the research that is being done within the faculty on the normative aspects of the energy transition, including ethical analysis, stakeholder inclusion, community engagement, and modelling approaches.

Open Call for Proposals from the TPM Energy Transition Lab – Fall 2020 Edition – is a success
The open call for proposals from the TPM Energy Transition Lab resulted in nine high-quality proposals, spanning all departments. The proposals cover a diverse set of topics in the energy transition, varying from a serious game container lab to research on conspiracy theories.
