Read more 20 September 2018 NIAS Lorentz grant for the LDE Centre for Frugal Innovations in Africa The LDE Centre for Frugal Innovations in Africa has received a NIAS Lorentz grant to organise a workshop on “Capturing Frugal Innovation: Towards a Handbook on the Crossroads of Technology, Entrepreneurship and Global Sustainable Development”. The workshop aims to bring together well-known authors that will contribute to a Handbook on Frugal Innovations as well as other key participants in the frugal innovation debate. Frugal innovations aim ‘to do more and better with less’. Read more 18 September 2018 H2020 grant to develop a performance tool for RRI self-assessment TPM researcher Emad Yaghmaei, as part of an EU consortium, managed to obtain 3 million euro Horizon2020 funding for a project proposal called SUPER_MoRRI. Public bodies, research institutes and ever more companies feel the need for better societal integration of research and innovation. But in practice it is often difficult how to measure to what extent policies and processes are socially responsible and which actions can be taken to improve Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). In the newly granted H2020 project, TPM will develop a new set of indicators for RRI monitoring to help overcome this threshold. Read more ...
