Benjamin Paul Hofbauer
Profile
Benjamin has a background in political, economic, and legal philosophy. Throughout his master’s program he worked on technology assessment in connection to risk ethics, with a special focus on issues connected to climate change. He holds a double degree MA from the University of Graz and the University of Bochum.
Research
Currently, Benjamin works on the ethical implications surrounding climate engineering technologies. For his PhD-research he looks into the normative uncertainties surrounding SRM-techniques, such as Stratospheric Aerosol Injection.
