Giorgia Pozzi

Profile

Giorgia is a PhD candidate within the EU Horizon2020 project SoBigData++ headed by Prof. Jeroen van den Hoven and Dr. Juan M. Durán.

Prior to joining TU Delft, she completed a double degree BA in Philosophy and Chinese Studies and an MA in Philosophy at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. During her Master, she focused on the ethics of new technologies and wrote her Master thesis on the ethical and epistemological implications of algorithmic predictions.

Research

Giorgia’s research interests focus on the epistemological and ethical challenges raised by opaque AI-based systems. She concentrates in particular on the intersection between philosophy of science and ethics in the context of explanatory artificial intelligence.
