Giang Tran

Profile

Giang Tran is an Assistant Professor in Economics at the section of Economics of Technology and Innovation, Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management. She is currently completing her Ph.D. in Economics at Maastricht University and Université libre de Bruxelles. She holds an M.Sc. in Economic and Financial Research at Maastricht University.

Research

Her work focuses on individual decision making in interpersonal contexts, taking into account other-regarding preferences, risk preferences, time preferences and loss aversion. She uses tools from microeconomic theory, behavioural economics and experimental economics.
