Paper types

The selected paper types are FSC-certified, which means that the raw material used to make the paper comes from responsibly managed forests. A condition for using the FSC logo is that the material produced is printed by an FSC-certified printer (preferred suppliers are known to Visual Communication).

Corporate communications, Bachelor’s and Master’s communications:

  • Plano Superior uncoated (80, 90, 100, 120, 160, 200, 250, 300 and 400 g) This is a matte paper.

For other printed matter, there are two choices of paper (matte and glossy):

  • Luxosatin coated (90, 100, 130, 150, 170, 200, 250, 300 and 350 g) This is glossy paper.
  • Plano Superior uncoated (80, 90, 100, 120, 160, 200, 250, 300 and 400 g) This is a matte paper.

Paper sizes

Standard A-sizes are used as much as possible, i.e. A4, A5, A6, etc. Different sizes are possible for books, one-off publications and when A-sizes are not possible for technical reasons.
