World record pipetting

S.V.N.B. Hooke, the study association of Nanobiology, organised a Guinness World Record Attempt Pipetting.

As study association they have been organising various activities for Nanobiology students, both social and career-oriented. One of the biggest challenges they face as an association is the lack of awareness of the study and their association. Many companies have insufficient knowledge on what Nanobiology entails and therefore underestimate the potential of Nanobiology students to contribute to their business.

To create awareness of the study they organised a World Record Attempt where 276 people simultaneously pipetted. At this event, professors from the Nanobiological research field presented, providing a clear and accurate picture of what the study entails.

"With this event we put the field of Nanobiology on the map. We enjoyed publicity in multiple newspapers, made the radio and hopefully, when Guinness reviewed the evidence, there is more to come!

We took another step in the mission to make it known that Nanobiology is at the front of medical advancement through technical and cell biology research."
