Submit your idea at any time

Are you a lecturer interested in lifelong learning and sharing your expertise further than the campus lecture halls? You can now discuss your ideas, get advice, and send in your proposal all year round.

Following feedback from lecturers such as yourself, and to facilitate you in bringing ideas to fruition faster, you can submit a proposal for the development of a programme of (online) courses at any time. Over 200 lecturers at TU Delft have already taken the step to make their knowledge go further and benefit more people worldwide through online education. Your own course could be next.

An informal chat?

If you have an idea about a topical course for professionals, want to discuss the type of support available, wish to know more about the Extension School portfolio areas, or are simply curious about lifelong learning and what it could mean for you, then come to a drop-in advice session. Bring your faculty coordinator if you want to.

Sessions are held in Teaching Lab every 1st Thursday of the month between 16:00 and 17:00 hours

  • The next one is on 1 December. One or both Product & Portfolio Managers – Bertien Broekhans and Janine Kiers – will be happy to talk with you.

How to apply

To provide early support to interested lectures, the Extension School’s selection process for new courses and programmes starts with a pre-proposal phase. This is about the subject of your course, followed by a full proposal focusing on the potential learner base, on the learners’ needs, and on comparable education offered elsewhere.
Once submitted, the Extension School’s Education Management Team will review your proposal at their following monthly meeting and provide feedback.
