Visit the TU Delft Gamelab to get help and advice in creating or redesigning serious games for your teaching

If you have thought about games and serious gaming, and you want to know how to do that or how to start, hop by the Gamelab. The Gamelab team develops serious games for research purposes, but also offers advice about the design and use of serious games in education. They can help you if you want to create or redesign a serious game or if you want to include gamified methods in your teaching.

The team, consisting of designers, researchers, and developers, creates serious games in collaboration with teachers and researchers from the TU Delft and beyond. The games range from simple card games to complex (digital) simulation games. They are used for example for teaching, conducting research and policy advice.

Teachers and students can join the Triadic Game Design workshop where participants experience what it takes to create their own serious game. The workshop is often as part of a design or innovation course. It is a standalone workshop for 20-30 people per session. The team can adapt the subject of the session to fit various themes.

You can find the Gamelab team at The Faculty of Technology, Policy, and Management, Building 31, Room A1.100. You can also contact them via Gamelab-tbm@tudelft.nl. If you want to read more about the Gamelab and the projects, please visit the website.
