Diversity & Inclusion Week

News - 01 October 2022 - Communication

“The most interesting conversations and the best ideas are born when people of different backgrounds, with different points of view and opinions, get together.”

In honour of Diversity Day on 4 October, TU Delft will be organising Diversity & Inclusion Week for the second time this year. The aim of this week is to draw attention to a safe and inclusive campus where we embrace diversity and thus encourage creativity, well-being and innovation.

Various topics regarding diversity and inclusion will be discussed during this week, and education and awareness will be central. This year's theme is Strength & Connections. This theme facilitates connection between students and the university, with each other, with the various topics, but also with themselves. By examining one's inner strength and qualities, one can work towards personal leadership, now and in the future.

Through various activities and events, TU Delft students, as well as lecturers and staff, will be nourished with knowledge, and there is room for personal stories. Anyone who feels they are a part of the TU Delft community is cordially invited to join the various events

At X, two events have been organised around Diversity and Inclusion. These are the Multicultural Identity & Representation course and the event Everybody Can Dance: Talk & workshop(s). For the overall programming of TU Delft, it is best to check out this link.
