BK 90-95
17 January 2014, 13.30
Location: Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment
Each year the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment invites back a generation of its graduates. To meet, to catch up, to share experiences and to find out what the faculty is like today. You are cordially invited to the BK 90-95 reunion.
The ’90-’95 generation was taught in the Van den Broek & Bakema Building, which burnt down in 2008. Job Roos, one of the driving forces behind the lightning conversion of the old main university building into a new Faculty of Architecture will be talking about that challenge and showing off BK City. Other speakers include Arjan van Timmeren and Jacob van Rijs, both from your generation. Now Professor of Environmental Technology and Design, Arjan van Timmeren will be discussing his research on a Swedish town centre which is being relocated in its entirety, whilst Jacob van Rijs will be talking about TU Delft as the common thread running through his career. At the closing reception there will be plenty of opportunity to catch up with your former studymates.
