It’s Spring – Lets grow!

Grow something green

Now, is the right time for the annual Prometheus ‘grow something green’ event. In previous years we grew pumpkins and Sunflowers. This year we got together with members who, in 2023, sent us pictures of their pumpkins and sunflowers for new ideas.

We will again grow sunflowers. However, instead of looking for the tallest sunflower we are looking for the shortest with a flower.

We are also venturing further into growing vegetables, carrots, courgette and edible flowers are on the menu. We have a set to get you started off growing these veggies. Start indoors with your seeds in pots on the windowsill and move outside to larger pots or the ground as the days get longer and warmer. A fun activity to do with all family members and delicious to snack your own produce.
