Conditions

The PhD degree courses organised by the JM Burgerscentrum are primarily organised for the PhD students of the JM Burgerscentrum. They have priority with respect to registration for these courses. However, also PhD students from other research schools, post-docs and staff members from industries and technological institutes can participate.

Fees

• € 250 | Officially registered JMBC PhD students and JMBC Postdocs. Registration fee includes: course material, lunches, 1 general diner, and (if necessary) hotel accommodation. Participants have to book their own hotel accommodation. Officially registered JMBC PhD- and PD-students will be reimbursed for the hotel costs to a maximum of 130 euro p.p.p.n., based on the hotel invoice.
• € 400 | All other national and international PhD students, scientific staff, post docs, post-graduate students. Registration fee includes: course material, lunches, 1 general diner. Participants have to book their own hotel accommodation; no reimbursement is provided by the JMBC.
• € 1000 | Staff members from industries, technological institutes or other participants. Registration fee includes: course material, lunches, 1 general diner. Participants have to book their own hotel accommodation; no reimbursement is provided by the JMBC.

Certificate

A certificate of attendance for a particular course can be obtained by sending an email to the JMBC. A general JMBC Course Certificate can be obtained after having attended at least 3 JMBC PhD courses.

Course evaluation form

Each participant of a JMBC course is requested to fill in a course evaluation form via this link. The evaluation form is anonymous. The JMBC scientific director will discuss the evaluation results with the course leader.
