Coronavirus update: COVID certificate at X

News - 04 November 2021 - Communication

As from Saturday 6 November, anyone wishing to enter X will have to show their COVID certificate*. The X building is a walk-through location. Once you have been checked, you will not have to wear a face mask inside. Please remember that the current safety measures will still apply to X.

Outdoor sports
People who only use the outdoor sports facilities will not need to show their COVID certificate. They may enter the outdoor sports facilities via the outer gate on the tennis court side. If you need to go inside during your sports activities, for a drink, or to visit the changing rooms or the toilet, for example, you will need to show your COVID certificate.

Tennis in the balloon hall
The balloon hall is seen as an indoor location, which means you have to show your COVID certificate here as well. Have you reserved a tennis court for unsupervised practice? Then we ask you to have your COVID certificate scanned at the entrance of X before you go to the balloon hall.
For the courses and association activities, the COVID certificate will be checked by the teachers/trainers.

Staff
TU Delft staff have two options:

  1. show their COVID certificate. You will not be required to wear a face mask;

  2. or show their Campus Card. In that case a COVID certificate is not required, but you will have to wear a face mask when moving from A to B.

* A COVID certificate can be: proof of vaccination, proof of having recovered from COVID-19 or a negative test result (a test certificate). The CoronaCheck app allows you to generate a QR code that will serve as proof. Have your QR code scanned and show proof of your ID at the entrance to X. If the screen turns green, you are welcome inside and may move around the building freely.
