National Week Without Meat & Dairy 2024

News - 16 February 2024

The National Week Without Meat and Dairy will take place from 4 to 10 March. TU Delft is also participating by providing all FoodCity catering outlets on campus with a fully vegetarian range. In addition, food trucks are also offering vegetarian dishes this week.

The National Week Without Meat and Dairy promotes a plant-based diet with the aim that more people choose plant-based products.
By choosing plant-based food more often, you make a positive impact on animal welfare, the future of our planet and your health. TU Delft is working towards a carbon neutral, climate adaptive and circular campus by 2030.  By eating more plant-based food, we are taking a step closer to this ambition.

Lunch lecture 'The plant-based transition'

Following this week, the lunch lecture 'The plant-based transition' will take place on 6 March, in which TU Delft professor Henk Noorman and top athlete rower Janneke van der Meulen, will tell more about the protein transition and exercising with a plant-based diet. The lecture starts at 12.45pm in Pulse, Hall 2 with a free vegan lunch from 12.30pm. Registration is required.
