Veni grant for ‘Aerial Robots in a Tangible World: Drones with the Sense of Touch Act upon Their Surroundings’
Five promising researchers from TU Delft's Faculty of Aerospace Engineering have been granted Veni funding by the Dutch Research Council (NOW). ERC Proof of Concept grant for the Delft Laminar Hump
Marios Kotsonis, professor at the Aerospace faculty of TU Delft, and his team are awarded an ERC Proof of Concept grant for DeLaH, the Delft Laminar Hump. DeLaH aims at breakthrough passive, robust, and effective laminarisation of aircraft wings.

Seventeen Veni grants for leading TU Delft researchers
The Dutch Research Council (NOW) has awarded Veni funding of up to EUR 280,000 to 188 promising researchers from the full breadth of science. In the fields of Applied and Technical Sciences (TTW) and Exact and Natural Sciences (ENW), seventeen scientists from TU Delft have been honoured. This will allow the laureates to further develop their own research ideas over the next three years.

IAWA scholarship 2023 for Space Flight student Margot Winters
De International Aviation Women’s Association (IAWA) reikt ieder jaar een beurs uit aan een vrouwelijke student van de faculteit Luchtvaart- en Ruimtevaarttechniek. Dit jaar gaat de beurs van 5.000 USD naar Masterstudent Space Flight, Margot Winters: "De IAWA beurs is een unieke kans voor mij om een netwerk op te bouwen van internationale vrouwelijke experts op het gebied van luchtvaart- en ruimtevaarttechniek - een kans die ik met beide handen zal aangrijpen."
