Find out what the new scheduling application TimeEdit means for you!

The timetable for the academic year 2022/2023 will be made with the new timetable system TimeEdit. The current system, Syllabus+, needs to be replaced due to continuity risks. Through a European tender, TU Delft has chosen TimeEdit. Over the past few months, the project team has set up the new system, so that it fits in as well as possible with the educational and working methods of TU Delft. From the end of March, the timetablers will be using TimeEdit to compile the timetable.

What does the implementation of TimeEdit mean for you?

Are you a teacher?

TimeEdit offers the TE-Viewer module that allows you to view your personal (concept and final) timetable. You can immediately see the educational activities you are connected to.  From TE-Viewer you can make a link with your agenda, so that you always have an up-to-date timetable in your personal agenda. In addition to TE-Viewer, the definitive timetables for the 2022/2023 academic year will still be accessible via MyTimeTable.

You will receive further details and explanations in July.

Are you involved in creating the timetables?

If you are involved in creating and checking the timetables, you can view the (draft) timetables via TE-Viewer from mid-April. This allows you to view the timetables from various perspectives.

From April, people who are involved in scheduling activities will be approached and provided with further explanation on how to use the TE-Viewer.

Students

Students can view the timetable for the 2022/23 academic year via MyTimeTable. They will not notice any difference as a user.

Timeline TimeEdit

This initial release of TimeEdit for the TU Delft is the first step of the optimisation of the timetabling process at TU Delft. More functionalities of TimeEdit will become available through the next roll-outs of this application.
