Thin film technology (ALD) for Electrolyzers

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Delft University of technology. I did my bachelor’s from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur (IN) and my master’s from University of Twente, Enschede (NL). My master’s thesis focused on shape-controlled synthesis of Pt-alloy nano-catalysts for the hydrogen-bromine redox flow battery. My research interests include electrochemistry, electrocatalysis, inorganic material science and synthesis, hydrogen production, transportation, and storage.

I started my PhD in December 2023, in which I will be focusing on using atomic layer deposition (ALD) technique for catalyst coatings in different types of electrolyzers. The research is supervised by Prof.ir. Ruud van Ommen and Prof. Ruud Kortlever. I will be jointly working with Product and Process Engineering (PPE), and Large-scale energy storage (P&E). This project is a part of NXTGEN HighTech 3rd Gen Electrolyzer consortium.

In my free time, I like planting, cooking, reading mythological novels, and playing volleyball.
