Cas Veenhoven

My name is Cas Veenhoven. I obtained my bachelor in organic chemistry at the University of applied science Leiden. After my graduation, I worked as a R&D Engineer at Plasthill B.V., where I was responsible for the development and quality of new blown film extrusion products, as well as the documentation of internal and external projects. At the time at Plasthill B.V., I learned a lot about engineering, blown film extrusion and a variety of polymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene and polyamide.

Since March 2023 I joined ChemE/Chemical Engineering as a technician in the Product and Process Engineering (PPE) lab. I am responsible for ordering chemicals/consumables and the safety of the PPE lab and helping PhDs and MSc/BSc students with their research/experiments.
