Coronavirus update: X now completely re-opened!

During the press conference of Tuesday 15 February, it was announced that almost all coronavirus restrictions will be lifted. A message we have all been waiting for for a very long time! Most of the restrictions will be lifted as of Friday 18 February and 25 February. We are looking forward to X being fully re-opened at its regular times.

Cafe X re-opened
Cafe X returns to its regular opening hours on 18 February. This means we will be open until 01:00 on weekdays and until 23:00 in the weekends. So you can stay and have a drink after your ticket hour, course or fitness session! Having a fixed seat, wearing a mouth mask and keeping a distance of 1.5 metres are no longer required from that moment on (18 February).

Scaling up our offer
We will return to our regular programme as soon as possible for all of the X offer. Due to the great diversity and amount of offer, we will need some time to arrange this. We hope for your understanding. Based on all applicable building standards we will look at the possibilities, where ventilation standards are particularly important. In practice, this means, for example, that you will be able to participate in our ticket hours with a larger group as soon as possible. The new courses for which you can register from Monday 21 February onwards currently maintain the maximum number of participants set earlier. Of course, we will inform you as soon as there are changes in the number of participants.

In addition to the live offer, we will of course continue to offer an online programme. For example, there are various online activities during Health Week from 21 to 27 February and we offer an online ticket hour every Friday.

Association offer
As of next Friday, 18 February, all association offer at X will return to the regular programme.

COVID certificate and face masks at X
The measures concerning the COVID certificate and the wearing of face masks will be scaled down in two phases:

• From 18 February onwards, it will be compulsory to show your COVID certificate when entering X. This applies until 25 February. However, you no longer need to wear a face mask indoors and the 1.5-metre social distancing measure is also dropped. You do not need to show your COVID certificate to use the outdoor facilities.
• As of 25 February, the COVID certificate will no longer be necessary. The basic measures will remain in force.

Refund policy
We are delighted to welcome you back to X as normal.

However, we also understand that, as a result of the past period, the demand for refunds has increased. X applies the following policy in this respect:

• If you have an X-subscription for the full academic year, we will make up the balance at the end of the academic year 2021-2022. Unfortunately, the corona period is and remains unpredictable. At the end of the academic year, we will have a full picture of all the consequences and you will be informed of the refund amount that applies to you.
• If you have a short-term X-subscription that has already expired, you can expect an interim refund for the period September 2021 to December 2021 soon.
