Science Prize for software that helps detect dementia
Diagnosing dementia long before a patient has any complaints. Meike Vernooij and Wiro Niessen (ImPhys) received the Anthony Fokker Prize, one of the three Dutch Data Science Awards this week, for new software that hopefully contributes to this goal.
Jorne Boterman started his MSc
Jorne works on “Coherent optical scattering from flow”. In this project they will study if scattering of coherent light from fluids can be used for diagnostic purposes.
