Flame of Prometheus

The flame of Prometheus has long been part of the TU Delft logo. The flame symbolises pioneering technology, the fire, which Prometheus stole from the Olympic gods and gave to the people out of love for mankind. This continues to be a source of inspiration for the TU Delft engineer.

One logo

TU Delft and its departments use one logo. TU Delft’s departments do not use any other logos next to or instead of the TU Delft logo.

Form

As the form of the flame is one of the most distinctive elements of the TU Delft logo, this form may not be changed or used in a different place, nor may a different colour be used.
