Garoa Gomez-Beldarrain is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. Her research mainly focuses on designing harmonized Human-Machine Collaborations in complex organizational contexts.
Academic Background
With a background in Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering, Garoa obtained a MSc degree in Strategic Product Design at the TU Delft. During her studies, she collaborated on various mobility-related projects, where she studied topics like resilience in public transport systems, meaningful experiences in autonomous vehicles, remote train control or human factors in train interiors. Currenlty, her research is mainly concerned with the intersection between process automation, human factors, and the technology adoption phase, and it is developed in collaboration with the Royal Schiphol Group.
