A series of online professional courses is now available to a much wider audience. We offer an advanced introduction for professionals involved in design, innovation and marketing who need to know how qualitative user research can support and improve their business, product and/or service design.
Circular Product Design Assessment
Circular product design helps design professionals to improve the long-term sustainability performance of their products. The key principle of the approach is 'designing out waste': fitting your product in a circular economy where the value of your product, its components and materials are maintained and not wasted.
Design Leadership and Innovation
This advanced course is aimed at strategic designers with an interest in acquiring a more senior position in the company or even becoming a Chief Design Officer (CDO). Designers with ambition to better understand and develop their strategic potential, become sparring partners in crafting briefs, and influence strategic decision-making within their organizations will also gain a lot from this course.
MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses)
TU Delft offers ‘Massive Open Online Courses’ (MOOCs) on the edX-platform. A MOOC is an online course aiming at large-scale interactive participation and open access via the web. In addition to traditional course materials such as videos, readings, and problem sets, MOOCs provide interactive user forums that help build a community for the students, professors, and teaching assistants. Participation is free, and a verified certificate can be added for a fee.

In this course, you will learn about the design of sustainable packaging systems. To do so we will explore the design and business strategies of the circular economy.
