Eliza Noordhoek is lecturer at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering.

Academic Background

Eliza Noordhoek graduated at Industrial Design Engineering in 2006 with Bruno Ninaber van Eyben as her professor. A year later she joined his design studio in Delft to be involved in all different facets of the design practice; from prototyping to production. She developed her skills on crafts, form giving, graphical design and industrial production. 

From the 'traditional making' she shifted her work field to the 'new making'; in 2016 she joined the team of start-up '3D Robot Printing' to create a company that works on manufacturing 4.0. How can new production techniques like robotic 3D printing change the industrial world of design and production? Not only new kinds of products will emerge. The way we design and produce, the way companies work, will change in the future.

As a teacher of practice, her goal is to coach students to be prepared for the real world as a industrial designer.
