Emily van Vught is lecturer at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering.

Academic Background

After graduating for the master Strategic Product Design early 2015, I started my career as a brand strategist for a design agency in Amsterdam. About a year ago I started as an independent brand strategist, helping companies and entrepreneurs with their brand positioning and strategy. Often this also leads to designing a unique visual identity โ€” that allows them to stand out in the crowd.

I started teaching part-time in 2017 for the PIM department of IDE. The courses I'm involved in as a coach are Business, Culture, and Technology (first year bachelor) and Strategic Product Innovation (second year bachelor).
