Biography
Karin Bogdanova is a PhD candidate within AI DeMoS Lab. Her research project focuses on the inclusive and ethical design of AI within digital psychiatry settings, specifically with regards to digital phenotyping. With her background in anthropology and STS, Karin pursues an approach within design anthropology to study algorithmic bias and inequality. In particular she employs frameworks and practices of feminist HCI, decolonial digital mental health, and ethics of care.
