Mindful running is about more than just running. Everyone runs for different reasons. One person might run half an hour several times a week to unwind, while someone else is training intensively to run a marathon. Whatever the reason for exercise, everyone could benefit from increased mindfulness. Whether during a walk or run, but also just in general.

In this course, you will learn to listen better to your body and energy levels and become more aware of your own breathing. This will help improve your running posture and can help prevent injuries. In addition to improved running performance, conscious breathing also has a positive effect on our stress levels and general health. Each training ends with a body scan, which is an exercise you can use to regulate your stress level during tense situations such as exams.

This course combines running techniques with mindfulness and yoga exercises. Everybody will go home with new tools and techniques that will help you walk and run more in the here and now. Joy is key and you will learn in a fun way how to let go and trust your capabilities. The course is suitable for beginners and advanced runners.

She has also been practising mindfulness and yoga for quite some time. At Mindful Run Netherlands, she attended the Mindful Run instructor training course.
The Mindful Run (or Walk) course brings together all the elements that she herself has been using for years to experience less stress and more energy. Living consciously in the here and now.
The aim of her classes is to have people return home with a smile and (a little more) awareness. Esther's teaching style can be described as enthusiastic, clear and well-founded, challenging where necessary and with a lot of personal attention.
