The fashion industry is thought to be responsible for 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions. However, there are so many things you can make from leftover fabric - and we can reduce waste by using them for new creative projects.

In this ticket hour you will learn about different techniques to upcycle fabric scraps and make something new from them. You can, for example, make rag rugs, headbands, scrunchies or plant hangers.

The teacher will show you different techniques using basic sewing methods or knots. Of course, you can bring your own ideas for projects. Materials are provided, but if you want, you can bring old clothes or fabric that you want to use for your project.
