Op weg naar een veilige opsporing van financiële misdrijven

Dit voorjaar organiseerden de regeringen van de VS en het VK gezamenlijk de ‘Summit for Democracy’ - gericht op het bevorderen en beschermen van democratische waarden. Een onderdeel van deze top was de PETs Prize Challenge, bedoeld om privacyverbeterende technologieën te ontwikkelen om gebruikers in onze datagestuurde samenleving te beschermen. Tegelijkertijd was het doel om de uitdagingen van onze steeds digitalere samenleving, zoals financiële fraude, aan te pakken. In deze internationale wedstrijd won het team van de TU Delft de tweede prijs door het meest effectieve model te ontwikkelen voor het detecteren van financiële fraude zoals het witwassen van geld.

The Cybersecurity group at TU Delft collaborated with WICCA (Women in Cybersecurity Community Association), to host a meetup on "Cybersecurity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" on March 27, 2023. The overarching theme of the discussions was how academia and industry can help each other to improve our defense capabilities.
