IDE at Dubai Design Week’s Global Grad Show
From Tuesday 12 to Saturday 16 November, Industrial Design Engineering will be represented at the Global Grad Show in Dubai, part of the Dubai Design Week. This show aims to showcase the next generation of innovators who are designing solutions for a better world.
The Excelscope project, which uses smartphones for on-site malaria detection, has been selected to be one of the 100 projects in the exhibition. This project was a collaborative effort of researchers and students of both Industrial Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering of TU Delft. IDE Associate Professor Jan-Carel Diehl will also take part of the panel during the Innovation for Social Impact part of the programme.
