VEDIS Retail Scriptieprijs for IDE alumna
Maud van de Mosselaar, who graduated in 2019, won the VEDIS Retail Scriptieprijs (Thesis Prize) on Tuesday 21 January. Maud has won this prize for her thesis ‘Changing Mindsets - Museum as an Inspiration for Fashion Retailers to adopt a purpose-driven mindset’. She wins a prize of € 3,000.
In her thesis, Maud investigates the possibilities for museums as inspiration for fashion shops at a strategic level. The result is a strategic model that helps retailers to create meaningful customer experiences: the Purpose Paradigm. The deciding factor for the jury was the combination of innovation, relevance and the quality of the application and reporting.
Maud graduated in 2019 for her master Strategic Product Design. Her IDE mentors were lecturer Margreet Beets and professor Catelijne van Middelkoop.
The Vedis Retail Thesis Prize is awarded annually to students with the best thesis on a subject with actual relevance for retail.
