Conny Bakker named Honorary Member of BNO

Professor of Design Methodology for Sustainability and Circular Economy Conny Bakker has been named Honorary Member of the Association of Dutch Designers (BNO) for her remarkable contributions to the design profession.
BNO: “The world we live in demands solutions that are less and less strenuous for our environment and our climate. Conny Bakker as always taken the lead in researching sustainable product design and now transfers her knowledge onto a new generation of designers.”
Conny’s honorary membership was due to be made official at the Design Beyond Generations event planned for 9 April, but this has been postponed due to the corona crisis.
