The moment has arrived: the no-show policy becomes effective on 6 September

As of 6 September, a no-show policy will be applied in respect of all ticket hours and in the gym. This means that there may be consequences if a participant doesn’t make use of their reservation. If the participant is unable to come, they must cancel the reservation at least half an hour (30 minutes) before the start of the activity. This will enable another motivated participant to take his/her place. If the participant does not cancel the reservation on time and/or does not show up on time, this will be registered as a no-show. For the first no-show, a warning will be given. In case of a second no-show, the X subscription will automatically be blocked for 7 days.

Why is this so important?
At X, we want as many students as possible to make use of what we have on offer. We continuously improve our offering by using our facilities in a multifunctional way, offering popular ticket hours more often, optimising the daily schedule and adding new offerings. We are also aware that some time slots still fill up quickly, with the result that we sometimes have to disappoint some of our participants. At the same time, we regularly notice that students who have reserved a spot don’t show up. This is very unfortunate: we would prefer to give these 'empty spots' to other motivated participants. The introduction of the no-show policy is an attempt to appeal to everyone's solidarity and significantly reduce the number of no-shows.

How to make sure you unsubscribe in time
If you have made a reservation but are unable to attend (or are likely to be late), make sure you cancel your reservation in time. It only takes a minute. Go to the webshop and look at Go to my bookings; there you will find an overview of all your current bookings. Select the item for which you wish to unsubscribe and click 'Cancel'.
