Professor Conny Bakker presents report findings during PBL webinar
On 8 March, Professor Conny Bakker took part in the Work Programme Monitoring and Steering Circular Economy webinar organised by the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL). During this tri-annual event, researchers within the work programme’s knowledge consortium give brief explanations on the results of their (sometimes ongoing) research and what they think this means for policy. Following their explanations, the other attendees reflect on what the research has taught them.
During the webinar, Professor Bakker presented the findings of her report, ‘Product Design in a Circular Economy’. Her report was written within the context of ‘Nederland Circulair’. ‘Nederland Circulair’ is an initiative of the Dutch government that aims to establish a fully circular economy in the Netherlands by 2050.
Attendees of the session included members of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, Utrecht University, PBL, among others.
