IDE graduate student Anne Arzberger was chosen as a recipient of ASME’s Design Engineering Division’s (DED) Broadening Participation (B-Part) Fellowship and Mentorship Program. She was one of five students chosen.

As part of the fellowship, Anne received a travel scholarship that covered her costs to go to the ASME IDETC-CIE Conference (St. Louis). While at the conference, she presented a research proposal at a poster session for early-career graduate students.

In addition to having attended the ASME IDETC-CIE Conference and presenting there, Anne will have the opportunity to present future research proposal with the Design Theory and Methodology Technical Committee, be a guest of honour at exclusive receptions for B-Part fellows, and receiving on-going mentorship from the DED community.
