The conference was held in Southampton this year, where the weather was unexpectedly warm and nice. Southampton is an old harbour city in the south of the United Kingdom. Read more 15 May 2023 Airport Technology Lab (ATL) Showcase Event & Hackaton - Digital Airport as a Solution We kindly invite you to the Airport Technology Lab* Showcase & Hackaton event, where we will be presenting two exciting days filled with insightful presentations and engaging roundtable discussions. LNMB, an abbreviation for the very complicated Dutch name “Landelijk Network Mathematische Besliskunde”, is a network that organizes courses for Dutch master and PhD students on Operations Research (OR) and Optimization. Last 30 of November, the ATO group had a nice surprise from Sinterklaas and its helpers. The group celebrated Sinterklaas in a fun (leuk) and pleasant (gezellige) atmosphere. Read more 24 November 2022 Senior Researcher Award Airborne for Bruno Santos Bruno Santos received the TRA VISIONS 2022 Senior Researcher Award Airborne earlier this month at the TRA Conference in Lisbon. Bruno’s work as the coordinator of the EC Horizon 2020 ReMap project was perhaps the major contribution to his award. Read more 10 October 2022 AGIFORS student awards for ATO PhDs Simon van Oosterom and Mike Zoutendijk This summer two of our PhD students at ATO have received prizes in the Anna Valicek student paper competition at the Annual Symposium of AGIFORS (the Airline Group of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies) for the work they performed on airport operations.
