Tekla Komlóssy is a PhD candidate in the Design for Sustainability research group at the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, researching the topic 'Co-creating circular value'.

Academic Background

Through her PhD, Tekla is researching how and to what extent co-creation contributes to the successful implementation and upscaling of circular economy solutions. Her research is part of the Climate Action program, under the flagship project 'Scaling the Circular Economy: an Integral Design Approach'.

Before her PhD, Tekla graduated as a Sustainable Design Engineer at Aalborg University in Copenhagen, Denmark. During her studies, she explored how co-creation - supported by social theories - can contribute to a systemic and sustainable transition.
