Ena Voûte is Professor and Pro Vice Rector of International Affairs for TU Delft. From 2012 she was Dean of TU Delft’s Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering (2012-2022).

Academic Background

After graduating at TU Delft’s Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, Ena Voûte  spent 25 years in industry with Unilever and Philips where she had roles in marketing, innovation, strategy and business management, in B2C and B2B, in various countries, often with global responsibility. 


From 2012, she returned to her alma mater, as dean, leading a programme of academic research and education during a period of change for the design discipline. During the faculty’s 50th anniversary celebrations in 2019, she noted: “Products are no longer stand-alone but are part of a larger whole of products and services. The context has become more important.”


In September 2022 Ena Voûte started her current position as Pro Vice Rector of International Affairs for TU Delft.
