Biography

Marise Schot is social designer and studied Industrial Design Engineering at Delft Technical University and graduated in 2008 on Design for Happiness. Since her graduation, Marise worked on many projects in health care; she developed concepts for living labs, people with autism, homeless people, open data, special needs education, empathy and resourcefullness. Next to her design projects she is putting up a start up for her initiative Ontzorghuis, which focuses on developing products to support families with chronically ill or disabled children. Marise worked for five years as concept developer in the Care lab at Waag. Next to her work as design practitioner, Marise has been working, since 2008, as a part time teacher of practice in different design courses .
