Did you know that there are around 40 different types of Soto spread all across Indonesia? Each bowl tells a story from a long long time ago. Join us to unravel the story behind it! We will bring a taste of Indonesian Soto straight to your kitchen.
InDelftnesia is the biggest annual art and culture event hosted by the Indonesian Student Association in Delft (PPI Delft). In the spirit of bringing our fascinating tradition to modernity, Indonesian students are very excited to share their knowledge and experiences of Indonesia to you. This year, celebrating the diversity of culture and spices of Indonesia, InDelftnesia 2021 happily invites you to come experience this diversity through our famous dish: Soto!
Enrolment
The cooking workshop will be hosted via Zoom. You can enrol for free, but be quick as there is a limited amount of spots available. Click on the button to login with your Net ID, go to courses & events, and click on Workshops. There you will see an overview of the upcoming workshops. Registration will end on Monday 22 February at 13:00. After you enrol, you will receive an e-mail with the Zoomlink and instructions to pick up a free package of ingredients*. So, what are you waiting for? Mark your calendar and we will bring the taste of Indonesian Soto straight to your kitchen!
* Only dry ingredients are provided. You need to buy all the wet ingredients on your own. Details about the ingredients and all that you need to prepare will be sent via e-mail to the participants several days before the event.
